Biography

Identifying themselves as a "guitar power trio played by middle-aged wild people," the band Guss features Leroy Critcher on guitar and guitar synth, Daniel Scollard on bass, and Dave Storrs on drums. So far the trio has released only one fully improvised live album, 1998's As Is, which appeared on Storrs' own independent label Louie Records. Beyond Guss, most members have also worked with other acts or issued solo material, including Scollard through Thousand Pieces and Mottburger as well as Storrs via the Tone Sharks and two '80s solo albums, Ross Island and Jumper Cables.
