Biography
Having founded Australia's Chapter Music while also serving in Minimum Chips and Sleepy Township, Guy Blackman launched his solo work in 2004 through a set of languid, nostalgically shaded songs that recalled the work of Jens Lekman and the Kings of Convenience. His track "Unsteady" was placed on E.S.P., the 2007 Nervous Jerk compilation. The 2008 release of his debut album Adult Baby arrived via Unstable Ape and contained both a duet with Jens Lekman and a vocal guest turn from the Art of Fighting's Peggy Frew.
