Biography
A saxophonist and flutist rooted in the West Coast scene, he earned his widest recognition for the spirited solos he delivered on Santana’s Caravanserai album. His horn and woodwind work also appears on sessions led by Todd Cochran and on additional fusion, jazz-rock, and rock projects by other players in those idioms. In addition, he has recorded a modest number of albums that have met with uneven critical and commercial response.
