Biography
Emerging from Munich, Germany, the punishing extreme metal unit Hailstone unleashes a lethal amalgam of old-school thrash and Gothenburg-inspired melodic death metal, pulling influence from artists like Dismember, At the Gates, and Entombed. The band formed in 2009 and issued its debut long-player, The Great Counterfeit, in 2012. The following year brought both the EP The Operation and tour dates alongside Obituary, Demonical, and Krisiun. Hailstone signed with German independent label Bret Hard in 2016 before delivering its sophomore full-length, Epitome.
