With a delicate, somber style of pop, singer/songwriter Haley Joelle reflects on relationships from the past, the present, and those yet to come. Her rise began in 2021 after a social media video featuring a segment of her first single, “Emergency Contact,” achieved widespread attention. Having issued her own debut album, Two Places at Once, in 2022, she gained wider notice when “Memory Lane” appeared in the film Culpa Mía the following year, resulting in tens of millions of streams. Toward the end of 2023 she issued her second album, Me and My Past, continuing to merge atmospheric electronics with acoustic instrumentation across her personal pop compositions.

Haley Joelle Intile-Epstein was born in Long Island, New York, and in her late teens enrolled in the concentrated one-year curriculum at LIMPI, the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production. Upon finishing the program in 2019, a TikTok clip that incorporated a portion of her track “Emergency Contact” spread rapidly, prompting her to issue an official studio recording of the song as her debut single in early 2021. That November she presented her first EP, Sideways Heart, a collection of comparably sincere, understated ballads alternating between atmospheric electronic production and acoustic pop. A series of singles sustained her presence on streaming platforms until they were compiled with previously unheard material on her independently released debut album, Two Places at Once, in November of 2022.

During the middle of 2023, Haley Joelle’s standalone single “Memory Lane” was placed in the Spanish-language Amazon Studios romantic film Culpa Mía, swiftly generating tens of millions of streams. She sustained her muted fusion of electronic and acoustic textures on her next full-length release, November 2023’s Me and My Past.
