Biography
Aaron Hanson and Edward J. Davis, both session singers, formed the freestyle duo Hanson & Davis. Their fusion of electro textures and club/dance grooves produced the 1986 hit single "Hungry for Your Love." Although peer acts such as Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and Miami Sound Machine attained substantial commercial traction through the rest of the decade, the duo’s album Can't Stop never yielded a comparable single, despite steady airplay on urban radio and backing from underground club networks. Hanson & Davis dissolved quietly before the 1980s ended, and "Hungry for Your Love" later resurfaced on Warlock Records in 1999.
