Biography
Harry Stinson moves fluidly among roles as a drummer, producer, songwriter, and background vocalist within country music. Over an extended career he has recorded and performed with Susan Ashton, Clint Black, Suzy Bogguss, Faith Hill, Dan Seals, Wynonna Judd, George Jones, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, and many more, building a résumé that mirrors the central figures of the genre.

Later he relocated to California, where he assembled the group Silver; the band scored a charting single yet disbanded after a brief run. By the middle of the 1980s he had returned to Nashville and begun contributing to Lyle Lovett’s albums. Around the same time he co-founded the Overtones alongside Kevin Welch.
His drumming work led to steady employment as the house drummer on television programs including The American Music Shop. Together with associates he also launched the independent label Dead Reckoning.
