Biography
Jakob Seidensticker and Henrik Raabe launched the electronica outfit the Havana Boys in the mid-'90s. The duo first honed their sound through appearances in the Hamburg club circuit during the late '90s. Positive reactions to their extensively refined live performances enabled a nationwide tour in 2000, which soon secured them a deal with Jubilee Records; the label then delivered the Havana Boys' debut full-length, First Strike, in early 2001. Nine months afterward, Seidensticker and Raabe issued World Domination under the Egocentric name on ROI/TOI, yet returned to their established moniker and Jubilee for the 2002 album Burnin' Dragon. Two years on, The H.B. Source reached stores, after which the pair parted ways with Jubilee. They signed next with Voidcom/Ministry of Sound, which put out the Boys' single "After We've Got Started" in January 2006 and followed it with "So Horny" the subsequent year.
