Head First from Holland fuses metal guitar riffs with street-smart beats, giving dance music a rugged edge that verges on aggression. The trio’s lean configuration of guitarist Ype Wielinga, keyboard player Da Rule and DJ Rockio on the turntables led Sm:)e Communications to issue the debut single “Dance Fever” in 1999, followed that same year by “To The Bone.”
