Biography
Heather Kropf, a singer and songwriter based in Pittsburgh, spent her early years in the Pacific Northwest. Classical piano and fine art occupied her studies until a position at the AAA station WYEP sparked her interest in popular music. Her debut album, Sky, appeared in 2000. Two years later came What Else Is Love in 2005; after cultivating an audience within Pittsburgh’s local music community, she issued her third full-length, Hestia, in 2009. That record mixed fresh material with new versions of tracks drawn from her earlier releases.
