Biography
Heavens to Murgatroid emerged as a power pop band when vocalist/guitarist Rick Twombly and bassist Tim McCoy formed the group in Portsmouth, NH, during 1990. Multiple lineup changes later gave way to a stable roster built around lead guitarist Tim Theriault and drummer Chris Boyle. The band placed tracks on assorted compilations while also issuing the independent albums ! in 1992 and Cyclop Pop in 1995. David Minehan of Neighborhoods and Star Darts produced the group’s third full-length release.
