Heiden

Origin: U.S.A

Hailing from the Czech Republic, Heiden began as a pure black metal ensemble before shifting away from those darker traits toward a wider metal approach. The group features Kverd on vocals and guitar, Varnag on guitar, Einsk on drums, and Dalias on bass. Established in 2004, the band issued its debut recording that year, the demo V Moudrosti Stromu. Riding early momentum, Heiden followed with the full-length album Potomkun Pozemskeho Soumraku before 2004 closed. The subsequent release, Tinne, appeared in 2005. The musicians returned to the studio in 2006 to shape a third album that moved beyond the atmospheric leanings of Tinne; Era 2 reached listeners in 2007. Keeping a steady output of multiple major projects each year, Heiden also shared a split with Trollech that same year.
