Biography
Folk performer Heidi Stone launched her stage career while still a child, studying under a classical guitarist and absorbing choral pieces alongside concertos. Additional influences arrived via records passed down by her cousins, among them works from the Clash, the Beatles, and Henry Mancini. In addition to guitar, she experimented with drums and trumpet before focusing on the creation of her own folk material. Her first release, Wash It Away, earned positive notice from the folk audience. After extensive touring and continued live appearances, she reentered the studio to complete 2002’s Cup.
