The track that achieved her greatest success, "Verdade Da Vida" (Concessa Lacerda/Raul Mascarenhas), appeared on the 1964 LP Uma Noite No Cangaceiro and was captured during a live performance at the Cangaceiro nightclub. Additional acclaim came with "Oitavo Botequim" (Luiz Antonio) together with the marcha-rancho "Estão Voltando As Flores" (Paulo Soledade). In 1940 she joined the singing roster of Rádio Nacional. Beginning in 1948 she launched a 25-year run as a nightclub crooner in both Rio and São Paulo. By 1951 she had assumed vocal duties for Djalma Ferreira's group. Her debut album, Dentro Da Noite, arrived in 1956 and was followed by eleven further releases through 1975. During 1958 she supported Dolores Durán throughout a Rio season and also collaborated with Elizeth Cardoso plus additional artists.
