Biography
Hemdale emerged from Ohio in the mid-1990s and immediately ranked among grindcore’s most formidable acts. Tape traders circulated their demo with unusual demand, while successive singles and rigorous road work steadily built a loyal audience. The band nevertheless failed to secure a permanent label and slipped quietly out of sight by the close of the decade. A 2002 reappearance brought the retrospective collection Rad Jackson along with a modest series of dates across the United States and Europe.
