Biography
Hestina, an indie folk outfit based in New Orleans, takes shape under the leadership of Michelle Ausman and Kimberly Vice. The pair first came together as a duo called Sirens back in 2014, issuing their initial full-length effort, Blossom Talk, through the Community Records imprint. Their understated style—marked by hazy vocal interplay and rhythmic ukulele-driven ballads—eventually drew notice from Los Angeles indie Autumn Tone Records, prompting a name shift to Hestina and a wider domestic reissue of Blossom Talk during the first months of 2016.
