Biography
HiDoraah serves as the chief performing name for Atlanta-based Dora Williams, who earlier recorded simply as Dora and maintains a nonchalant approach to rapping while collaborating frequently with brother Young Thug and sister Dolly White yet issuing only sparse solo work. Together with Dolly White, she issued the joint effort Slimestas in 2018 after first appearing on Young Thug’s mixtape I’m Up.
Dora Williams spent her childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, alongside ten siblings that include brother Jeffery, better known as Young Thug. Following repeated cameos in Young Thug’s videos, Dora joined sister Dolly for their first recorded appearance on “Family,” the closing track of their brother’s 2016 mixtape I’m Up. That unplanned segment, captured during casual freestyling the sisters had not known was being taped, prompted the release of Dora & Dolly’s Family Ties mixtape later the same year. Dora soon adopted the stage name HiDoraah. During 2018 she issued the solo single “Como Te Llama” and contributed several tracks to Young Thug’s Slime Language, among them the Dolly collaboration “Expensive.” HiDoraah and Dolly, who had begun using the alternate name Dolly White, resumed their partnership and delivered six assured, unhurried selections collected as Slimestas in 2019.
