High.

High. is a New Jersey quartet whose sound centers on hazy, melodic shoegaze anthems. The group came together in Boonton, New Jersey during 2021, with vocalist and guitarist Christian Castan, bassist and vocalist Bridget Bakie, drummer Jack Miller, and guitarist Danny Zavala making up the lineup. Soon afterward they began performing in New York and throughout the surrounding tristate region, sharing bills with acts including DIIV, A Place to Bury Strangers, Glare, and Smut. In 2023 the band issued its three-song cassette EP Bomber, and later tracked material with Jeff Zeigler at Uniform Recording in Philadelphia. After signing to Kanine Records, High. issued its eight-song Come Back Down EP in 2025, marking the quartet’s first appearance on vinyl.
