Biography
Hints, a Brooklyn quartet self-styled as a "Thatcher-era" outfit, craft introspective guitar pop that blends the bright melancholy of Real Estate with the shadowy new wave textures of 1980s acts such as Felt, the Church, and the Cure. The four friends Collin Lewis, Garrett Morin, J. Ellis, and Wyeth Hansen established the group in 2011 and have since issued a trio of concise two-track EPs titled Vol. I (2012), Vol. II (2012), and Vol. III (2013).
