His Electro Blue Voice

Originating in the Northern Italian town of Como, the mercurial yet hard-hitting trio His Electro Blue Voice comprises vocalist/guitarist Francesco Mariani, bassist Claudia Manili, and drummer Andrea Napoli. The band evokes a range of acts spanning Killing Joke, the Melvins, and Xmal Deutschland. Its inaugural release, a split single alongside Nuit Noire, appeared in 2007. Subsequent singles issued on S-S Records, Sacred Bones, and Holidays Records paved the way for HEBV's debut EP, Dead Sons, which Brave Mysteries put out in 2011. During 2013, His Electro Blue Voice supplied the track "Kidult" for the Sub Pop 1000 compilation, several months ahead of the label's release of the group's first full-length album, Ruthless Sperm.
