Biography
Following the model set by 101 Strings, Hollywood Strings Orchestra concentrated on orchestral easy-listening adaptations of contemporary songs, with particular emphasis on cinematic themes. After selections from their catalog began appearing on streaming platforms in the twenty-first century, the group’s preserved performance of Max Steiner’s theme from the 1959 film A Summer Place carried the ensemble onto the Billboard TikTok Top 40 chart in 2024.
