Biography
Enigmatic frontman Conor Kiley assembled the West Coast glam rock outfit Holy Ghost Revival as its creative force, embodying an unholy cross between Iggy Pop, Axl Rose, and Jim Morrison while maintaining a rotating cast of musicians from the band's start. The self-described "heavy metal folk rock/pagan glam" ensemble, rooted in Bainbridge Isle, WA, inked a deal with the 1965 label during 2007 and issued its first full-length, Bleeding Light. In 2008 the lineup—vocalist Kiley, Jean-Paul Garrnier handling bass and clarinet, guitarist/keyboardist Sebastion Sheldon, guitarist Johnny O', and drummer Mikko Freeman—moved operations to London, where Ryan Hadlock (Modest Mouse, Blonde Redhead) helmed the follow-up Twilight Exit.
