Biography
Hot Damn first gained attention for their bold mix of 80's new wave, punk rock crudeness, and suggestive lyrics touching on sex and violence through the release of their initial EP Bitch With An Attitude. The group built on their female-fronted vocal style and three-chord angst by issuing their debut full-length record In High Heels Slut during 1995. In the wake of a 1996 US tour, both the single "Beaver Shot" b/w "Take It Off" and the follow-up album Big Fat Lover appeared in 1997.
