Biography
Operating out of Portland, OR, the uniquely named House of Badger fused contrasting musical approaches, which earned them favorable press attention as well as acclaim for their live performances. The trio's first release, the 2008 album Death Birds, mixed psychedelia, post-punk, and American underground currents while channeling the essence of Jefferson Airplane, Siouxsie, and Fugazi without strain. Amanda Kelly (vocals, guitars, and other instruments), Charlie Gallipeau (bass, vocals, assorted keyboards), and Liam McNamara (drums, percussion) issued the record on their own independent label.
