Biography
Keith Fullerton Whitman, known for his schizoid drum'n'bass approach, issues material under the recording alias Hrvåtski. His Reckankreuzungsklankewerkzeuge (RKK) label has issued some of the most prosaic experimental-electronic recordings of the late '90s, standing alongside electro-noise catalogs from outlets such as V/Vm and Diskono. A 1995 Berklee College of Music dropout who once served as metal columnist for Guitar Player, Whitman produced dozens of tracks throughout the late '90s yet made very few public, even after establishing RKK and putting out the Attention: Cats compilation in 1998. RKK eventually assembled selected Hrvåtski pieces into the full-length Oiseaux 96-98, released in 1999. Hrvåtski also works for Forced Exposure, the noted out record store based in Boston.
