Biography
Huck Johns, a Detroit native, moved to Hollywood in 2000. He contributed songwriting to Kid Rock’s self-titled 2003 album and issued his own solo album, Huck, in March 2006. The single “Oh Yeah” earned moderate airplay on mainstream rock radio, and Johns maintained a solo touring schedule until 2008, when he partnered with former Buckcherry bassist Jonathan “JB” Brightman to launch the hard rock band Black Robot. The group delivered its debut album in 2010.
