Biography
Texas native Hudson Westbrook delivers soulful country songs marked by sincere lyrics and occasional rock edges. After picking up guitar just a few years earlier, he saw one of his earliest compositions, “Take It Slow,” achieve rapid streaming growth in the first months of 2024. Momentum built quickly from there: before the year closed he had issued his debut EP and notched additional successes via “5 to 9” and “Pray Your Name.”
Stephenville, Texas, is where Westbrook grew up; he started on guitar in 2020 and, after beginning college, turned to songwriting a couple of years later. His first single, the relaxed country-rock number “Take It Slow,” arrived in April 2024 and soon accumulated streams. After signing with River House, he issued the brisker “Two Way Drive” several months afterward.
