Biography
The Brooklyn-based band Hull first attracted notice via their 2007 EP Viking Funeral, built around a solitary 17-minute composition split into two parts that fused doom, sludge, post-hardcore, and crust-core. Landing a contract with The End Records came next, after which the group’s eccentrically styled lineup—Rev. A. Mack, Rev. J. Stieber, Rev. C. Laietta V, Rev. N. Palmirotto, and Rev. S.B. Dunn—developed a full-length expansion of those same influences, issued in 2009 under the title Sole Lord.
