Biography
Based at Bethel Church in Redding, California, Hunter G K Thompson serves as a Christian singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota, his sound draws from indie folk and pop ensembles such as the Head and the Heart and the Lumineers. The track “My Dear” appeared on Bethel Music’s Loft Sessions album in 2012, while he also contributed to the label’s Tides and Tides Live collaborative releases alongside fellow worship artists Matt Stinton, Jenn Johnson, and others. His debut EP, Gabriel, Kansas, surfaced in early 2013 and was followed the next year by the subsequent EP Swan Song.
