Hunterchild

Originating from Indiana, the duo Hunterchild specializes in electronic pop marked by dark, raw, and sensual R&B influences. Comprising singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Luke Aaron Jones and keyboardist/percussionist Marty Sprowles, the pair coalesced around 2013 following the abrupt end of their earlier group, Dreamers of the Ghetto. That dissolution, which also produced a divorce between Jones and Dreamers keyboardist Lauren Jones, supplied the foundation for Hunterchild’s sound of intense emotion paired with minimalist electronic soul. Their first release, the self-titled album Hunterchild, appeared on Temporary Residence in 2014.
