Biography
Idalé, a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter, first engaged with music during her studies at San Juan's conservatory, where instruction equipped her to perform on both piano and guitar. She initially performed as a member of the local Latin rock band Vivanativa before striking out independently and issuing her debut solo album, Perdidos en el Eden. EMI Latin released the project in 2000, incorporating acoustic rock, salsa, Brazilian samba, and Puerto Rican plena.
