Illusion of Safety

Dan Burke originated the shadowy experimental/isolationist collective Illusion of Safety. Collaborating with a flexible roster of eight participants who typically number two or three on any given effort, he has issued more than ten ambient albums punctuated by intermittent industrial and thrash/funk accents. Additional activity under the guises Fixated, Lilycrusher, and Cubensis keeps him occupied, while the bulk of his output appears on the Complacency label that he runs himself.
