Biography
I'm OK You're OK, an alternative CCM/emo-pop outfit, came together in Memphis, TN, built around the contributions of frontman Tyler Logan, bassist Zach Logan, drummer Anthony Rick, and guitarist Jeremy Morgan. The group obtained its initial recording contract in 2009 from Dream Records, a partner imprint of Universal Christian Music Group that had been launched that same year by the Dream Center, the Los Angeles, CA-based nonprofit. Their opening single, "Stories of Redemption," registered moderate airplay on Christian rock radio that summer and climbed as high as number 32 by August. While preparing for the arrival of their first album later that autumn, the quartet staged dozens of concerts aimed at both secular and faith-based crowds; one such outing took place at a youth gathering inside Angelus Temple, headquarters of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, and the following week they appeared at the Hot Topic location inside Glendale Galleria. Their debut full-length, Presents..., reached stores that September.
