I’m With Her

I'm with Her is a contemporary folk supergroup featuring Sara Watkins, Aoife O'Donovan, and Sarah Jarosz. The trio emerged in 2014 and later took home a Grammy Award for the 2019 single "Call My Name."

Watkins, O'Donovan, and Jarosz chose the name "I'm with Her" years before Hillary Clinton turned the phrase into her 2016 presidential campaign slogan. Their impromptu performance at the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival led them to spend 2015 touring internationally, during which they put out the single "Crossing Muddy Waters"/"Be My Husband." After stepping back in 2016 to focus on individual work, the musicians reconvened the following year to cut a full-length project with producer Ethan Johns at Real World Studios, resulting in the February 2018 release of See You Around. That same year the trio received the duo/group of the year honor at the Americana Music Association Awards. They returned in 2019 with the single "Call My Name," which earned Grammy nominations for Best American Roots Performance and Best American Roots Song; they ultimately won the latter.
