Biography
Jesse Leyh launched the rock band In Grenada in Philadelphia during 2007, following the breakup of his earlier outfit Movable Type. Leyh began the effort as a solo endeavor inside his home studio, yet by 2008 the act had begun performing live with rotating ensembles that numbered between four and seven musicians. Fall 2009 found the group tracking its first album once the stage lineup locked into place around Leyh alongside keyboardist J. Fernando Valls, bassist Dan DiFelice, and drummer Devin Carr. On September 28, 2010, the quartet issued that debut record, Break, through its own independent channels.
