In Mourning

In Sweden, where the group originated and continues to reside, the melodic death metal and progressive metal ensemble In Mourning came together during the year 2000. Prior to securing a recording contract with Aftermath Music, the act put out exactly five demo recordings. Live shows commenced near the midpoint of the decade for the lineup featuring Tobias on guitar and vocals alongside Bjorn and Tim on guitar, Pierre handling bass duties, and Crille on drums, after which the outfit issued its first proper album-length effort, Shrouded Divine, during 2008 once the agreement was finalized.
