Biography
In 1996 the MC trio of Maximus, Gaia, and Sadyesi initiated Infectious Organisms’ blend of jazz, funk, and hip-hop with the backing of Who and Kalongi. After Who and Kalongi left in 1997 to establish Tribe of Judah, the band brought in Dave Sunderland on bass, Rudy Lopez on keyboards, Will on drums, and Brooke on guitar, then issued the debut single “No Sense” b/w “A Spontaneous Combustion” and followed it later that year with The Omega Project EP. Gaia exited the lineup soon after Infectious Organisms delivered its self-titled debut full-length in 1999 to focus on personal objectives.
