Biography
Infinite Body drew early underground attention for its ethereal textures, merging shoegaze swirl with dense layers of indie-rock distortion. Kyle Parker first surfaced in music circles in the mid-2000s through his solo project Gator Surprise. He later embraced the alter ego Infinite Body and released the project’s debut album, White Hymn, in understated fashion in 2007. A string of cassettes and LPs followed before the 2010 release Carve Out the Face of My God brought wider notice, earning praise from Pitchfork’s key voices. The same year, Parker’s appearance at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, also met with favorable response.
