Biography
International Pony came together in 1998 after turntablist DJ Koze and percussionist and singer Cosmic DJ connected with classically trained keyboardist Erobique, whose background also included stints in jazz and soul ensembles. The group put out its debut full-length, We Love Music, in 2002. Their funk-electro fusion opened doors to a range of remixing assignments, a selection of which appeared on the 2004 release Bass Is Boss. International Pony skipped touring throughout 2006, yet sustained audience interest by issuing Mit Dir Sind Wir Vier, which contained the single Gothic Girl.
