Biography
Intricate Dialect serves as an MC within The Deuce, an artist most listeners have yet to encounter, a circumstance he embraces without complaint. Raised from birth in Ann Arbor, MI, he connected with hip hop’s core ideas and expressive tools at age twelve. Early notice arrived locally via the recurring freestyle gatherings he organized with peers at Community High School. Those same gatherings introduced him to Nick the Ferenheight 2040, who soon joined forces in the pursuit of ideal production. Pooling resources, the two acquired a pair of turntables and a four-track recorder, then committed fully to crafting, performing, blending, and capturing the hip hop they themselves wished to experience. After filtering three years of these private recordings and sending the results for professional mastering, Intricate Dialect issued his debut full-length project, The Life of ID: Basement Up. One year afterward, Solomon’s Treasure revealed a shift toward a more distinctive style supported by stuttering beats and expansive synth textures. Michigan-area hip hop listeners have responded with critical acclaim, yet commercial radio has remained indifferent to his inventive direction. The underground gave rise to this lyricist, and he plans to remain firmly rooted there.
