Iscariot

Originating in Valparaiso, Indiana, Iscariot assembled in 2004 and delivers ferocious metalcore laced with death metal intensity through the lineup of vocalist Derrick Harding, guitarists Adam Higgins and Justin Taylor, bassist Ian McConnell, and drummer Alex Quiles. The quintet’s approach recalls the styles of Unearth, the Red Chord, and Lamb of God, and they first appeared with a self-produced EP that moved more than 2,000 copies via concert sales. The group later signed to 567 Records, which issued their initial full-length album, Lifeless Design, in 2006.
