Biography
Isobel Heyworth, the Manchester, England-based singer/songwriter who records as Nine Bean Rows, first stepped onto local stages in 2003, drawing listeners in with her ethereal, haunting voice and the understated elegance that defines her sound. The 2004 EP On the Back of an Envelope caught the attention of Stephen Fretwell, whose admiration for Heyworth prompted him to feature her as a guest artist on the track “Rose” from his debut album, Magpie. In addition to serving as the U.K.’s representative in the PRS Danish exchange program and performing at multiple festivals, she issued her first album, Close Your Eyes, in 2006.
