Biography
Following the July 2000 appearance of their long-awaited Fantastic, Vol. 2, the Detroit-based hip-hop trio issued older tracks on the short album Best Kept Secret. Running under 30 minutes, incorporating assorted remixes, and issued under the temporary one-off moniker J-88, the project draws on leftover material from Slum Village’s storied and heavily bootlegged Fantastic, Vol. 1.
