Biography
Jätkäjätkät, a Finnish ensemble blending hip-hop with folk and reggae elements, includes Erno Haukkala, Joska Josafat, Antti Kivimäki, Rasmus Pailos, Puppa J, Kim Rantala, Ville Väätäinen, Pekka Varmo, along with the rapper Asa among its ranks. The group’s first release came in 2010 via Asa’s own Roihis Musica imprint, delivering the album Ykstoist Ykstoist which climbed to the sixth position on the domestic charts. Subsequent Roihis efforts Jatkojatkot from 2011 and Marian Sairaala in 2013 both entered Finland’s Top Ten.
