Biography
Before ever contemplating a solo recording career, Jack Hayter—guitarist for Hefner—received encouragement from the band’s vocalist Darren Hayman to attempt his own songs. He accordingly assembled the lo-fi acoustic project Practical Wireless within his own residence during 2002. Absolutely Kosher Records released the collection, distinguished by his fatigued vocals and minimal backing, the following summer.
