Biography
Formed in Florida during 1997, the trio Jadestone began performing regularly throughout the local club circuit. Its present configuration features Yves on bass and vocals, Gary on guitar, and Steve on drums. The outfit specialized in hard-edged pop in the vein of Fastball and Matchbox Twenty and has released three albums since its inception: This Is America, Transmission, and And Then There Were Two. Strong results in music competitions followed, most notably a win at the Bandemonium 2000 event that secured an opening slot for Marcy Playground. In August 2001 Jadestone finalized a distribution agreement with Referenda Records.
