Biography
Jailene, a merengue performer, entered the recording industry in 1995 by issuing her self-titled LP, an album that earned her “Best Female Tropical Artist of Year” honors at the Univision Network’s Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. The follow-up project Como Toda Mujer arrived the next year, while 1997 saw the appearance of Aqui Estoy, whose lead track “Regresa a Mi” achieved hit status. Encontre el Amor reached stores in 1998.
