Biography
Hattiesburg, Mississippi, provides the home for contemporary gospel vocalist Rev. James Bolton. He joined siblings Jerry, L.W., Rev. Jr., and Ray to establish the Bolton Brothers, a widely admired gospel ensemble that has issued multiple praised recordings since their 1996 launch. Growing up as one of 20 children of Rev. Linwood Bolton Sr. and Leola Bolton, James and his brothers placed ministry, family, and music at the center of their lives. The year 2011 brought his first solo project, the uplifting and R&B-tinged album He's All I Need. February 2015 introduced the single "Good to Me," with "Count It All Joy" appearing as a follow-up release before the year closed.
