Biography
A singer-songwriter residing in Suffolk issued his lone album in 1990 and performed on tour with Roy Harper, only to resume classroom duties in 1992. John Leckie handled production duties on Hunger, which drew favorable notices and invited ready comparison with Roger McGuinn. Dark imagery and introspective observations fill Varda’s songs. Roy’s son, Nick Harper, also contributed to the album.
During the new millennium Varda issued the acoustic follow-up In The Valley.
