Biography
Jamie Hodge, also known as Born Under a Rhyming Planet, spent his early years in Chicago, where employment at a computer store introduced him to technology while frequent visits to local dance retailers supplied him with records. Once his mother acquired recording equipment for him, Hodge promptly obtained a deal on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label, helped along by a direct phone call in which he informed Hawtin that one of his tracks was unsatisfactory. Hodge's first release was then succeeded by the EP Octaves/Tremeloes.
